The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Sandstone is a sneaker built using the MR 2002 as inspiration. Combining an aesthetic from the early 2000s, durability, support, and comfort, this running shoe delivers.
The upper of the Protection Pack Sandstone iteration of the New Balance 2002R is created using a mesh-like textile base overlaid with nubuck leather that gives the shoe both style and support. The fusion of the two materials creates balance and breathability to offer your foot comfort stride after stride. The laces, tongue, and sock liner are all a creamy sand color to match the primary color represented throughout the upper. New Balance branding appears on the gray insoles and the gray tongue tag.
